Community Membership
Open to Our Community

Heritage South Community Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative owned by its depositors, known as "members". Anyone who has an account with Heritage South is a part-owner of our credit union. Being a member in Heritage South Community Credit Union means you will be banking with an institution that is locally owned and operated from top to bottom.

Who Can Join

Membership in Heritage South Community Credit is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Bedford, Rutherford, or Marshall counties. We also grant membership to the immediate family of current members to include spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, and stepsiblings.

Once established, membership may be retained regardless of any change in the original qualifications for membership – as long as the member remains in good standing with the credit union. Contact one of our member service representative for more information.

How To Join

Heritage South Community Credit Union is committed to making things simple for our members. It takes only a completed application form, a $1 one-time membership fee and a minimum $5 deposit in a share account to make you a member. The only requirement to retaining your membership is that you keep at least $5 in your share account at all times.

Please contact us to become a member or for more information on membership eligibility.
