New Smyrna Location Now Open
Heritage South is excited to open a branch in Smyrna! For many years, we have hundreds of credit union members who live in the Smyrna area, and they convinced us that a branch there could help many of their neighbors.
Located at 941 Sgt. Asbury Hawn Way, across from the Nissan plant, our full service branch features everything you need to easily fulfill all your financial service needs. For your convenience, we’ve added two drive-up ATMs that feature live teller assistance Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Our lobby is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Darlene Robinson, no stranger to our Smyrna members, is branch manager. With nearly 13 years’ experience at Heritage South, there are many ways that she can help members – especially when it comes to loans! Her team in this office will include Debbie Johnson, Jessica Villa, Laura Pierce, and Gaby Orjuela (Habla Español).
Heritage South Community Credit Union has been serving members for more than 60 years. Chartered in 1957 as EPCO Credit Union, the financial institution was founded by 10-15 employees of the Empire Pencil Company in Shelbyville, Tennessee. In 1994, the Heil-Quaker Credit Union in Lewisburg merged with EPCO, and in 1997 the credit union for Middle Tennessee Electric Membership employees merged. Twelve years ago, the name was changed to Heritage South Community Credit union when the community charter was obtained, and membership was open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the counties it serves. Today HSCCU serves more than 24,000 members with assets in excess of $197 million. In addition to the office in Smyrna, HSCCU has two offices in Murfreesboro and one in Lewisburg. The main office and corporate center are located in Shelbyville. Deposits at Heritage South are federally insured by the NCUA. Want to learn more about Heritage South?
