Membership

Heritage South Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. We call our account holders "members" because you're more than just a customer - you’re a part-owner, you have a say in how your credit union is run and you get to share in its success in tangible ways. Regardless of how much money you have on deposit, each member has one vote in electing board members for the organization. Better still, being a member of Heritage South Community Credit Union means you will be banking with an institution that is locally owned and operated from top to bottom.

Who Can Join

Our membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Bedford, Marshall, Rutherford, Cannon, or Maury counties or the cities of Tullahoma, Manchester, Winchester, Decherd, or Fayetteville. We also grant membership to the immediate family of current members, including spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, and stepsiblings.

Once established, membership may be retained regardless of any change in the original qualifications for membership – as long as the member remains in good standing with the credit union. Contact one of our member service representatives for more information.

How To Join

Heritage South Community Credit Union is committed to making things simple for our members. Nowhere is that more evident than in our application process. It takes only a completed application form, a $1 one-time membership fee, and a minimum $5 deposit in a share account to make you a member. The only requirement to retain your membership is to keep at least $5 in your share account at all times.
