2025 Membership Drive Prize Rules

Definitions

Definition of a NEW MEMBER: A person who has no previous existing relationship with Heritage South Community Credit Union and their membership is opened between the dates of May 19, 2025 and June 30, 2025. A new member will be identified by their tax ID number or social security number (or other unique identifier) in our internal system. Multiple NEW Member designations cannot apply under the same tax ID number or social security number (or other unique identifier).

Definition of a CURRENT MEMBER: Anyone who has an active account in good standing at Heritage South Community Credit Union on or before May 18, 2025, or who opens and maintains their account in good standing during the period of May 19, 2025 through June 30, 2025.

Definition of HSCCU Family Member: All employees, all members of the board of directors, all immediate family members of employees and directors, including spouses, children, spouses of married children, as well as grandchildren and their spouses.

Current Member Referral Drawing

Each HSCCU member is eligible to refer as many members to the credit union as they want. The person being referred for membership must meet membership qualifications: Live, Work, Worship or Attend School in the Tennessee counties of Bedford, Marshall, Rutherford, Maury, or Cannon, or the Tennessee cities of Fayetteville, Tullahoma, Manchester, Winchester, or Decherd.

Referral cards are available at all Heritage South offices and are available to print from our website, www.heritagesouth.org. Current member’s name will be validated in the member drawing through one of two methods: (1) the new member presents a valid referral card when they open their account in person that clearly displays current member’s name and phone number or (2) the new member opens their account online at www.heritagesouth.org and lists current member’s name and phone number in the “Person/School/Business name you heard us from” field on the Additional Information screen. The new member must enroll in eStatements at the time of account opening for the entry to be valid. A referring HSCCU Family Member, if applicable, will be validated in the same manner.

The HSCCU 2025 Membership Drive will be conducted May 19, 2025 through June 30, 2025. Only confirmed new members referred during this time period will qualify a current member for the Current Member Drawing. All current members who refer a confirmed new member will have their name entered into the Current Member Drawing once per confirmed new member.

-Current Member Grand Prize Opportunity-

Each Current Member who makes a confirmed referral will be entered in a grand prize drawing – HSCCU Will Give the Winning Current Member $1,500!  Winner of the Current Member grand prize drawing will not be eligible to win the NEW Member Grand Prize Drawing.

Additionally, a weekly prize will be given to a winning current member drawn from all eligible entries from the preceding week. Current members will only be allowed to win a weekly prize once during the membership drive, however, current members who win a weekly prize will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. All valid entries on June 30^th will be included in the Week 6 drawing.

The Weekly prizes are as follows (Prizes subject to change):

• Week 1 - RTIC Ultra-Light 52 Quart Hard Cooler - approximate value: $200
• Week 2 – Blackstone E-Series Griddle - approximate value: $250
• Week 3 – Outdoor chair, cooler, and folding wagon - approximate value: $225
• Week 4 – Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker - approximate value: $200
• Week 5 - RTIC Ultra-Light 52 Quart Hard Cooler - approximate value: $ 200
• Week 6 - $200 Grocery Gift Card

ONLY ONE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED IN EACH DRAWING.

*Only current HSCCU members in good standing above the age of 18 at the time of the drawing are eligible. Applicable taxes will be the responsibility of the winner and required tax documentation will be provided by Heritage South. HSCCU Family Members are not eligible for this drawing. The odds of winning depend on the total number of valid entries received and are based on the following formula: one (1) out of the total number of valid entries received by Heritage South Community Credit Union during the applicable drawing period.   Heritage South estimates there will be approximately 750 new members during the membership drive.  The winner selection pool will consist of all valid entries received by Heritage South Community Credit Union.

NEW Member Drawing

Each NEW member who joins between May 19, 2025 and June 30, 2025, is eligible for this drawing once their membership is opened.

The NEW member’s name will be entered once for meeting requirements of membership, including opening a share/savings account with a minimum $5 deposit, and enrolling in eStatements at the time of account opening. Primary account holder is the qualifying name in the case of a joint account.

The HSCCU 2025 Membership Drive will be May 19, 2025 through June 30, 2025. Only new members who open share accounts during this time period will qualify for the NEW Member Drawing.

Once the NEW member has joined, they may then begin referring members and also be entered in the Current Member Drawing (see rules above). While NEW members may enter in both New and Current Member drawings, they are only eligible to win one of those two drawings.

-NEW Member Grand Prize Opportunity-

One (1) grand prize winner will be chosen in a random drawing from among all eligible entries On or About the drawing date of July 2, 2025. Winner will be notified by e-mail or phone, as listed on the winner’s HSCCU account. Two (2) attempts will be made to contact the winners via email or phone within the 48 hours following winner being chosen. From there, the winners will be given 24 hours to respond to the final e-mail or phone notification and accept their prize before they forfeit their prize and a new winner is chosen.
